Every AI coding agent skill tends to live as a markdown file people copy-paste between projects by hand. OpenSkill turns that into one command: openskill add "code-review" -d "..." writes a full SKILL.md with YAML frontmatter, versions every edit with rollback, and lets skills extend or include each other instead of duplicating rules across five near-identical files.
